l Dirty Martini - The Boogaloo Jakarta

The history of the Dirty Martini starts in New York in the early 90’s where bartender John O’Conner founded the salty cousin to the Classic – Dry Martini. A Classic Martini contains gin and dry vermouth, it has a very clean, dry, and aromatic taste.

John O’Conner first created the Dirty Martini by muddling olives into the drink, and later by adding a splash of olive brine, since becoming an international favorite.

Be sure to buy good quality olives in brine for best flavor.
